How is gold divided in Islamic inheritance?
Gold is part of the estate like any other wealth. After debts, funeral costs and any bequest (waṣiyya, at most 1/3), each heir receives the fixed fractional share the Qur'an assigns (4:11, 4:12, 4:176). Why does purity (karat) matter when dividing gold?
